Writing Up A Storm!

Well, I've just been writing up a storm lately! :)

I'm proud to say that I just wrote what I think, after editing, will be a very good oneshot. It's Sev/Lily, though it's angst more than romance, and one-sided romance at that. Anyway, it's kind of a songfic, though really the song is only used to tie the end to the beginning.

As soon as the queue is reopened, I will try to update a current WIP, and then post this darling little oneshot! :)

New Oneshot--Deceit

Okay, so, of course, I was wandering around the challenge forums at HPFF, and I came across this challenge, "Can You Write It?" DarkRose, the maker of the challenge, gave me the pairing Bill/Hermione to work with.

My fanfiction ended up a little differently than anticipated. Apparently, I can't write Hermione without Ron, and the oneshot ended up being a triangle: Hermione was with Bill but thinks about Ron, etc...

Anyway, if you would like to read something that is extremely out of my comfort zone, check it out. The title is Deceit, and it is rated Mature. It's going to be posted on my author's page at HPFF.

New Story--The Cursed Skull

A New Story Idea

So I have an idea for a new WIP fic that I've been toying around with. It would be a James II-centred adventure/action fic titled The Cursed Skull. I think I'm going to post it sometime in the next two weeks, if not sooner. Here's the summary, though it might change a bit before I post it.

When the Chamber of Secrets is opened for a third time, sixth year James Potter (II) sets out to discover what is attacking the muggleborn students since the Basilisk was previously slayed by his father. When a close friend looks to be the next victim, James gets the help of a few friends and a lot of family, and together they struggle to solve the mystery and close the Chamber.

What do you think? Does this sound like it could be an entertaining/exciting read? Any comments or suggestions are welcomed!

At this point, I only have 2 1/2 chapters written, and I'm sure it will end up with at least 7 chapters, if not more.

New Fanfic

Well, readers, summer is here and it's my goal to really work on my fanfics. And now I've got one more to work on. My newest bit of inspiration is all about Percy Weasley.

Summary: Percy Weasley has always been serious, hardworking, and diligent, but after the war, Percy feels a void in his life. He sees his siblings in meaningful and fufilling relationships and realises that he needs something outside of the office. Could a family friend, Audrey Chambers, be his answer?
